Situated on established grounds, the Marshlands House is fully immersed and connected to its environment. Our brief was to design a large, modern family home around the existing mature trees and gardens.

By creating a layered timeless design which compliments and wraps around the grand weeping willows. Reinforcing the intimate connection with the landscape, the entertaining areas seamlessly open up allowing the outdoors in.  The design approach is restrained, with minimal detailing. Large overhangs and simple forms balance out the dominant use of glass.
